I did add an Alarm 5 early this morning prior to resetting Menus and Timers. Otherwise, Alarms 1 – 4 have been set since firmware 1.8.
Received messages “RKE system communication has been lost!” from the NET:
March 6, 2009 2:13:37 PM GMT-05:00
March 6, 2009 2:24:22 PM GMT-05:00
March 6, 2009 3:02:31 PM GMT-05:00
March 6, 2009 3:43:30 PM GMT-05:00
March 6, 2009 5:36:37 PM GMT-05:00
March 6, 2009 7:18:53 PM GMT-05:00
My intervention hitting FN key may have triggered these messages but I only remember hitting FN twice:
Alarm: 1 Cleared — March 6, 2009 7:19:05 PM GMT-05:00
Alarm: 2 Cleared — March 6, 2009 7:19:06 PM GMT-05:00
Alarm: 3 Cleared — March 6, 2009 7:19:07 PM GMT-05:00
Alarm: 4 Cleared — March 6, 2009 7:19:11 PM GMT-05:00
Alarm: 5 Cleared — March 6, 2009 7:19:12 PM GMT-05:00
Right after this I reset Alarms and have not reentered any at this point.
Since I added alarm 5 this morning and did not receive my first error message until 2:13 which was about 45 minutes after I reset the Menus and Timers, I suspect it was the reset which triggered the shut downs.
I had been running 1.10 production since 2/14 without encountering this issue.
Update 2/7 @ 12:03 a:
I did an Alarm Reset a few hours ago and did not have a shut down. I entered an alarm #5 and had a shut down less than 10 minutes later. My alarms were not a problem until I added the fifth alarm but have a theory it may just be adding an alarm or making a change to an alarm after 1.10 production firmware update as my alarms did not have issues until today when I messed with the alarms today. I will test more in morning adding alarms back in different spots. Right now did another Alarm reset so I don’t have to worry about it overnight.
If you are having this issue, it may be worth a try to perform an alarm reset and leave them alone until there is an update. All your alarms will be erased.

In addition, moved the Green Bird’s Nest Acro to the bottom of tank to help it with having too much light near the top, and glued the ORA Oregon Blue Tort Acro and ORA Roscoe’s Blue Acro to their new homes on the LR. The Green Bush Acro does not look like it is going to survive for some reason.

Now I can use the following URL to access the NET Module: http://JustMyReef.com:7001
(Complete 2/22 @ 7:16p, total time 3 hours)
Once I corrected the settings, changing the Gateway to the main router IP and then changing the Primary and Secondary DNS to settings as assigned by Verizon, I was able to successfully test the email settings which I originally had set up the first 10 minutes trying to attempt configuring email notification:

Learned a new trick. Use a MJ 400 to blow off your rocks using your thumb to “throttle” the flow. Which has me thinking… Is there a portable powered mini vacuum to use to spot siphon hair algae or anything else you would like?
Tank Shot as of today:
